Wedding Event Contract

This contract (the “Agreement”) is made on this day of April 25, 2022 between Dj Buddy Bravo (the “Dj + Host”) and Leigh and Sam (the “Client”) for the hiring of The Dj as independent contractors to perform (the “Event”) for Dj + Host at the Wedding, to take place at The Greenbriar Inn, (the “Venue”). 

It is agreed as follows:
1. Place, date, and time of Show. The parties agree that the time and place of Show will be Venue (The Greenbriar Inn), located at the address 8735 N Foothills Hwy, Boulder, CO 80302, on June 4th, 2022, from 3:00pm - 11:00pm. Event scheduled to start at 4:30pm and end at 10:30pm.

2. Description of Event. “Event” will be a DJ set with musical content decided by The Client + The Dj together. Ultimatley, the song selection is determined by the DJ based on playlists provided by the client. The event will include hosting (introductions of couple, guest, speeches, special dances, dinner, last call, etc.) Requests from guests will be considered and determined by the DJ. 

3.Request Deadline. The Client will provide all song requests and event details no later than May 21th, 2022 by 11:00pm 

4. Payment. Compensation for the Event will be $1500 dollars, payable by Check, Venmo Transfer, Paypal Transfer, or Cash. A 25% deposit totaling $375 is required to secure the event date. Deposit must be made 30 days before the event, April 28, 2022. Payment must be made in full on or before 7 days prior to the event, May 22, 2022. Payments can be made to “Eric Bravo” or using Venmo, username “BuddyBravo”. Please contact the DJ for anyother information required for money transfers. The DJ is welcome to put out a tip jar / QR Code for additional compensation at the event. 

5. Cancellation Policy. In the event that there is inclement weather and/or Covid-19 restrictions, the client must notify the DJ of cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. The deposit will not be returned in the event of cancellation. The DJ FEE (Total fee $1500, minus the deposit $375, yielding $1125) is returnable only if 14 days notice is given, prior to event. 

6. Sound and Equipment. The DJ is expected to be at the Venue at 3:00pm on the evening of the event to allow for proper set-up and sound-check. The Client is required to bring all sound amplification, monitors, mixers, equipment, microphones, cords/cables needed for production. The event location will provide power source that is easily accesible to the DJ. 

7. Security, Health, and Safety. Dj + Client warrants that Venue will be of sufficient size to safely conduct Show, that Venue is of stable construction and sufficiently protected from weather, and that there will be adequate security and/or emergency medical responders available if foreseeably necessary. Dj + Client maintain sufficient personal injury/property insurance for Venue sufficient to cover foreseeable claims. The Dj will present a negative COVID test taken within 48 hours of the event if requested. 

8. Interpretation. Agreement will be interpreted according to the laws of Colorado. 

The below-signed Client warrants s/he/they has authority to represent the individuals involved in the event and will uphold the details of this contract. The below signed Dj warrants he has authority to act as Dj + Host and will uphold the details of this contract(above).
