Wedding Event Contract

This contract (the “Agreement”) is made on this day of May 10, 2022 between Dj Buddy Bravo (the “Dj + Host”) and NATASHA AND KAYLEIGH (the “Client”) for the hiring of The Dj as independent contractors to perform (the “Event”) for Dj + Host at the Wedding Ceremony and Reception, to take place at Little Man Ice Cream Factory (the “Venue”). 

It is agreed as follows:
1. Place, date, and time of Show. The parties agree that the time and place of Event will be Little Man Ice Cream Factory (The Venue), located at the address 4411 W Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80204, on June 18th, 2022, from 4:00pm - 11:00 pm. Event scheduled to start at 5:30 pm and end at 10:30 pm.

2. Description of Event. “Event” will be a DJ set with musical content decided by The Client + The Dj together. Ultimately, the song selection is determined by the DJ based on playlists provided by the client. The event will include hosting (introductions of couple, guests, speeches, special dances, dinner, last call, etc.) Requests from guests will be considered and determined by the DJ. 

3. Request Deadline. The Client will provide all song requests and event details no later than Sat June 4th, 2022 by 11:00pm 

4. Payment. Compensation for the Event will be $1000.00 , payable by Check, Venmo Transfer, Paypal Transfer, or Cash. A deposit of $250 is required to secure the event date. Deposit must be made 30 days before the event, May 18, 2022. Payment must be made in full on or before 14 days prior to the event, June 4, 2022. Payments can be made to “Eric Bravo” or using Venmo, username “BuddyBravo”. The DJ is welcome to put out a tip jar / QR Code for additional compensation at the event. (See payment schedule and receipts below)

5. Cancellation Policy. In the event that there is inclement weather and/or Covid-19 restrictions, the client must notify the DJ of cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. The deposit will not be returned in the event of cancellation. The DJ FEE (Total fee $1000, minus the deposit $250, yielding $750) is returnable 7 days prior to the event (June 11, 2022). Notice must be sent via email to the address contact@buddybravo.com and confirmation from DJ is required upon receiving e-mail.

6. Sound and Equipment. The DJ is expected to be at the Venue no later than 4:00 pm on the evening of the event to allow for proper set-up and sound-check. The DJ is required to bring all sound amplification, monitors, mixers, lights, microphones, cords/cables needed for production. The client is expected to provide easy access to a sufficient power supply.

7. Security, Health, and Safety. The client warrants that Venue will be of sufficient size to safely conduct Event, that Venue is of stable construction and sufficiently protected from weather, and that there will be adequate security and/or emergency medical responders available if foreseeably necessary. Dj + Client maintain sufficient personal injury/property insurance for Venue sufficient to cover foreseeable claims. The Dj will present a negative COVID test taken within 48 hours of the event if requested. 

8. Interpretation. Agreement will be interpreted according to the laws of Colorado. 

The below-signed Client warrants s/he/they has authority to represent the individuals involved in the event and will uphold the details of this contract. The below signed Dj warrants he has authority to act as Dj + Host and will uphold the details of this contract (above).
